چکیده
This letter proposes the use of ultrasound computed tomography (USCT) for handwriting by imaging sound velocity changes in a medium caused rod. The rod was used as writing object, and tomographic instrument able to process data over time with temporal frequency 4 frames per second. Tests are carried out various words letters using USCT automatic software. work shows functional capability offered system combining qualitative features.

Time domain reconstruction of sound speed and attenuation in ultrasound computed tomography using full wave inversion.
Ultrasound computed tomography (USCT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that provides information about the acoustic properties of soft tissues in the body, such as the speed of sound (SS) and acoustic attenuation (AA). Knowledge of these properties can improve the discrimination between benign and malignant masses, especially in breast cancer studies. Full wave inversion (FWI) methods for im...
متن کاملHand-Held Sound-Speed Imaging Based on Ultrasound Reflector Delineation
A novel hand-held speed-of-sound (SoS) imaging method is proposed, which requires only minor hardware extensions to conventional ultrasound (US) B-mode systems. A hand-held reflector is used as a timing reference for US signals. A robust reflector-detection algorithm, based on dynamic programming (DP), achieves unambiguous timing even with 10 dB signal-to-noise ratio in real tissues, successful...
متن کاملThermoacoustic Tomography with Variable Sound Speed
We study the mathematical model of thermoacoustic tomography in media with a variable speed for a fixed time interval Œ0;T so that all signals issued from the domain leave it after time T . In case of measurements on the whole boundary, we give an explicit solution in terms of a Neumann series expansion. We give almost necessary and sufficient conditions for uniqueness and stability when the ...
متن کاملBimodal magnetic resonance imaging-computed tomography nanoprobes: A Review
Bimodal imaging combines two imaging modalities in order to benefit from their advantages and compensate the limitations of each modality. This technique could accurately detect diseases for diagnostic purposes. Nanoparticles simultaneously offer diagnostic data via various imaging modalities owing to their unique properties. Moreover, bimodal nanoprobes could be incorporated into theranostic s...
متن کاملComputed optical interferometric tomography for high-speed volumetric cellular imaging.
Three-dimensional high-resolution imaging methods are important for cellular-level research. Optical coherence microscopy (OCM) is a low-coherence-based interferometry technology for cellular imaging with both high axial and lateral resolution. Using a high-numerical-aperture objective, OCM normally has a shallow depth of field and requires scanning the focus through the entire region of intere...
